Self employed claim service to open early
HMRC have announced that the opening date for the Self Employed Income Support Scheme (SEISS) has been brought forward from June to the 13th May 2020. The claim process should be simple and individuals could have the money in their bank account by the 25th May 2020. HMRC are in the process of contacting all individuals who may be eligible for the scheme.
All eligible individuals will be able to claim 80% of their average monthly profits (to a maximum of £2,500) for a period of 3 months and the claim will be paid in a single installment directly into their bank account.
