For your business to succeed, keeping accurate accounting records are vital. Jones & Graham Accountants can manage this task for you from the beginning.

It may seem like a good idea to try to handle your own accounts to start with or find the cheapest accountant around to keep costs down. This however is not advisable and is certainly not the in the best interest of your business to try to cut corners.

By law, all files that are submitted relating to a business such as its tax returns, accounts etc. are , without exception the responsibility of the business owner (or Director/s in the case of a Limited Company).  When regulations are not followed either through error or otherwise, you will not be able to point the finger at the accountant as the responsibility for all files and information submitted remains with yourself.

It is common for people to claim for expenses and items they are not really entitled to in order to pay less tax. It would be terrible to be accused of fraudulence due to your financial files being inaccurate.

Once your accounts are being taken care of by professionals, you will not have to worry about this type of thing. This allows you to concentrate your energy more productively, by paying proper attention to other important aspects of your business and developing healthy working relationships with your clients and employees. When running a business, your time becomes extremely valuable as you are stretched in an increasing number of directions.

You will soon come to rely on your accountant. You can quickly recoup your fees in the money they assist you to save.

A businesses future depends on proper account maintenance and monitoring. Bad financial management plays a fundamental role in the failure of a number of businesses that all too often do not have any idea of how much trouble their business is in until it is simply too late.
